20 Blindspot icons for 20muses






So about 15 icons into this I realized it was only the ladies of Blindspot and I decided to roll with it.
Aside from one tiny Edgar Reade it's 100% ladies. Also I clearly love blues and purples. And Tasha Zapata.
Yay for getting my inspiration back! :)

Louise LeBourgeois: #1 - blue, calm, this texture, #2 - I was going to go a completely different direction with this but then I was listening to this song from the soundtrack + lost in the sea/water, plus the cap was so blue.
David Shillinglaw: #3 - caos, complex, text, #4 - texture, text, impulsive (because Tasha's impulsive but also my impulse is to icon Tasha)

Great text use in 2! I like how it almost looks like a decorative accent or texture as well. 11 is also really zany and fun with that texture use.

Oh, these are so gorgeous! I love the way you've played with textures in this post. #11 is so beautifully done. I love the overlay of the texture creatures such an interesting pattern across the icon. The way you've played with the eyes as well, to make them all white, just helps the crop pop beautifully too. #13 has such a beautiful, stunning crop, and the softness of the colouring is absolutely stunning too. And #19 is just WOW, amazingly intense vibrancy, and the combination of colours is freaking perfect! Love the placement of the text as well!

12 is just so incredibly pretty. That colouring is amazing and the texture/brush use here really works. Just wow. I also really the lighting to 1 and the use of the lighting and texture in that one. Also, gorgeous croping in alt1 and 18 especially. So haunting.

these are wonderful!

i love the coloring and text on 2, the light and texture use on 11, and the colors and composition on 12. the cropping on 13 is absolutely gorgeous, as is the coloring. i love the text on 14 and the negative space and text on 15. and the colors on 19 and 20 are phenomenal! i also really love the 3rd alt. just beautiful work all around.
