I'm glad I'm not the only one who thought Regina fit perfectly with the theme. I love this. Your art is gorgeous, and I love your song selection.

She really does. I originally had three or four ideas, Emma Hill from The Following among them which would have been fun, but then I actually caught up on all the eps I was behind on for OUAT. The middle of the season was slow and I kind of lost interest but the last three/four of them got me super pumped for next season, and of course, gave me a lot of Regina feels.

I really love the last song, because aside from what lyrics I highlighted, it sort of sets up how Cora never really taught Regina anything but power, and how Henry grew up kind of being as manipulative as Regina in a lot of (more benign) ways and how they end up learning from each other through the season and in the end, love is what saves them.

basically I still just have a lot of feeeeeelings

Regina is a pretty perfect choice for this theme. She wasn't (and isn't) always evil, but she acts on what she knows and mostly that's been manipulation and broken trust. I think you did an excellent job of finding songs that clearly convey her struggles. Also love the horse and crown symbols, they're, likewise, perfect for this mix.

(i figured, regina's the queen, and that would make henry something like a knight, but then she's trying to prove her worth to henry which is kind of knight-like, and then, as you've pointed out, it's crowns and horses, which is super appropriate for regina regardless)

This is a really great topic for a mix. As much as Regina has done truly terrible things, her love for Henry is never in the slightest doubt (even if he doesn't believe in it).

Your songs choices really build a melancholy mood and emphasize Regina's struggle between falling back on what she knows and doing the right thing for her son.
